I have been working as a Professor of Infrastructure Protection & Management at The University of Melbourne. Using porous media mechanics & engineering reliability analysis, my research mainly focuses on
– Reliability-based life-cycle assessment of built infrastructure
– Building cladding subject to hailstorm impact
– Structural health monitoring using advanced non-destructive testing techniques
